MEET YOUR DOULA

Nice to meet you and be welcome! I’m Mayra!

Originally from Brazil, now I’ve been calling Bay Area home for the last 9 years. I’m a Postpartum Doula & Sleep Consultant. Passionate about helping families feel supported, confident and cared for during the postpartum journey.

With over 10 years of newborn care experience, Certified Postpartum Doula & Sleep Consultant.

Here, you’ll get to know a little more about me, explore the services I offer, learn about my training and experience, and read kind words from families I’ve had the privilege of supporting.

How Can I support your family

Every family needs something different. Here’s how I can help, and you can mix and match.

Professional, non-medical support for your family during the transition into life with a new baby, so you can feel more rested, supported, and confident.

An extra set of hands during the day, so you can shower, eat, nap, or simply breathe.

Each shift begins with a brief parent check-in to talk through your baby’s day, feeding, sleep, questions, and anything you’d like me to know before you rest. Throughout the night, I provide attentive newborn care while supporting both baby and parents.

I help families understand their baby’s sleep needs and build healthy, age-appropriate sleep habits with a gentle, personalized approach. For newborns and young babies, the focus is on healthy sleep foundations rather than formal sleep training.

I support each family’s feeding choices and goals, with practical, judgment-free help.

Yes. I support breastfeeding, bottle feeding, combination feeding, and pumping while respecting each family’s feeding choices and goals. A Sleep Consultant helps families understand their baby’s sleep needs and develop healthy, age-appropriate sleep habits. Support may include wake windows, naps, bedtime routines, sleep environment, night wakings, and realistic sleep expectations. Sleep consulting isn’t only about sleep training. It’s also about giving parents the knowledge and tools to better understand their baby’s sleep and create routines that work for their family.

Yes. Healthy sleep foundations can begin during the newborn stage. I can help you understand your baby’s sleepy cues, wake windows, routines, sleep environment, and natural sleep patterns while always considering their age, development, and feeding needs.

I can provide sleep support beginning in the newborn stage. During the early months, I focus on gentle, healthy sleep foundations rather than formal sleep training.
